My son had his Eagle Court of Honor this weekend. It was fun to bring family and friends together to celebrate his award. We had cake and cookies along with this dip. I served the dip with Italian ladyfingers (savoiardi), but you can also use sugar cookies or graham crackers. It is a very fast and easy appetizer or dessert option to take to a party.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, room temperature
1 c. unsalted butter, room temperature
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. + 2 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1-1/4 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used Guittard brand)
In a food processor combine cream cheese and butter and pulse until mixed. Add vanilla and pulse until mixture is smooth. Add brown sugar and salt and pulse until smooth and creamy. Pour mixture into a mixing bowl and fold in mini chocolate chips. Place in a serving dish. Wrap with plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour. Serve with ladyfingers. Serve 15-20.
